Removed to Kentucky about 1818, and from there to Warren County, Illinois, in 1831, and crossed the plains to Oregon in 1850, and died at Monmouth, Polk County, in 1870, aged eighty-seven years. His first wife was Miss ------ Murphy, by whom he had twelve children. She died in 1864. Second wife the relict of Dr. James McBride.
