Henry York: lives on Applegate creek; is a farmer and stock grower; post office
Applegate; was born in Clay county, Ky., in 1834; came to state in 1852, and to
county in 1854; was married July 4, 1862, to Sarah E. Slagle.  Children, William
B., Martha A., Ida, Albert S., Joseph S., Emily, Alice (deceased), Francis M.,
Bertha M. (deceased) and Jacob.
