Davidson, was born in Warren County, Illinois, in 1845, and came with his parents to Oregon in 1850. Has followed the occupations of. farming, teaching, bookkeeping, and for the last five years has been engaged in photographing. In the line of scenic photography he takes the first rank in the State. In 1869 he was married to Miss Sarah 0. Riggs, daughter of D. L. Riggs, of Salem, a pioneer of 1853. By her he had six children, five of whom are living.
