SANFORD HIASHAW

     Born in Warren County, Indiana, 1841; came to Oregon from Missouri and
settled in Luckiamute Valley.  Present residence, Mill Creek, Polk County, and
occupation, farming.  He married Elma C. Childers in Dallas, Polk County, in
1878, and their children's names are -- Isaac, Emma, and Stella.
