JONES Born in Dorsetshire, England, September 15, 1819; came to the Pacific Coast in 1846, and lived in California a short time prior to coming to Oregon. On his arrival here he settled at Muddy Creek, Yamhill County. His present place of residence is at McMinnville, and occupation, farming and stock-raising.
