Anderson Born in Munsala, Finland, January 7, 1883. He left home at the age of sixteen years nad emigrated to America and came to Tacoma, Wash. Here he had various employments for a few years. When twenty years old he began learning the watch-making and jewelry trade, being in the employ of his brother; later went into business of his own as a traveling salesman in the watch and jewelry line. After a while he opened up a store of his own in Ruston, but later located in Mckinley Hill district. His present location os 3508 McKinley Ave., where he does all kinds of repairing, principally in the watch and jewelry line. In addition he carries stock of jewelry, and is enjoying a fair business. With his family he lives in a fine residence of his own, 816 E Harrison St., and is the owner of other property. He is a progressive man and is taking an active part in matters of interest of the community in which he is living. He is married to Ida Sjoblom, born in Jeppo, Finland, in October, 1883. They have two sons, Rudolf and Clarence. Mr. Anderson, with his wife, are members of the local lodge, Order of Runeberg. ******************* Submitted to the Washington Bios.
