H. H. GRIDLEY - Was born in Tioga county, New York, May 2, 1831, but at the age
of fifteen years settled in Illinois, where he resided until 1871, when he came
to Vancouver.  Married Amanda E. Cook, and has two children, viz: Charles
Clinton and Imogene.
