Portland, Or. : Washington Publishing Co., 1885. JACKSON DAVIS - Was born in Cedar county, Missouri, May 15, 1844, and came to Portland in 1871. After spending the summer there he removed to Chelachie prairie, and eighteen months after to Oregon. In three years he came back to Clarke county, was for two years at Fern Prairie, then to La Camas creek for two years, and then to Fourth Plain where he now resides. Married Ruphina Blair, and has four surviving children, viz: Emma, Freddie, Charles and Arthur.
