He came to the Pacific Coast in August, 1890. He spent a short time in Seattle, and then went to Tacoma, where he lived about two years, thence coming to Wenatchee in May, 1892. He was associated with P. A. Wood and Company in the conduct of one of the large business concerns in the roaring new town. Mr. Lillis belongs to group of five who have lived continuously within the city limits since its first days of history. He owns valuable city property and several choice orchard tracts, and in divers other ways has furnished proof of his sagacity as a good business man. Mr. Lillis has one boy, generally known as Jack, Jr., who is an upstanding youngster of about 25 years, and is a 1925 graduate of the University of Washington.
