MILTON DAVID BARASH Milton David Barash, junior member of the firm of Gray & Barash, Incorporated, electrical engineers of Seattle, has been a resident of this city for nearly two decades and has gained an enviable reputation as a representative of his profession. His birth occurred in Alamosa, Colorado, on the 10th of December, 1880, his parents being Morris and Fannie Barash. His early educational advantages were supplemented by a course of study in the University of Missouri at Columbia and his professional training was received in the Armour Institute of Technology in Chicago, after which he took up the work of electrical engineering. In September, 1904, when a young man of twenty-four years, he came to Seattle, where he has since made his home and has become prominently known as a member of the firm of Gray & Barash, Incorporated, which has been awarded many important contracts that have been successfully and promptly executed. Mr. Barash is a man of marked ability in his chosen field, his thorough training, ready adaptability and practical trend of mind enabling him to find ready solution for intricate engineering problems. On the 9th of June, 1910, in St. Joseph, Missouri, Mr. Barash was united in marriage to Miss Selma Kahn and they have become parents of a son and a daughter, Jessie Ann and Milton David, Jr. Mr. Barash is a popular member of the Arctic Club and fraternally is connected with all the Masonic bodies, having crossed the sands of the desert with the Nobles of Nile Temple of the Mystic Shrine. His worth as a man and a citizen is widely acknowledged, for he measures up to high standards.
