CLARK, attorney of Yakima, is a native of Wisconsin by birth, and a resident of Washington through choice. Mr. Clark was born in 1875. His early educational training was had in public schools, while his legal knowledge was had in the University of Michigan, from which he graduated in 1907 with the degre of LL. B., as well in the University of Wisconsin, from which he graduated in 1900 with the degree of B. L. He came to Yakima in 1908 and was admitted to the Washington bar in the same year. While Mr. Clark, realizes that litigation, whether indulged in by corporation or individual, is costly, and while there are many cases handled by him that are amicably settled without recourse to law, at the same time he appears in all the courts often, and maintains rigidly every right of his client. A man possessing thorough knowledge and comprehension of the many intricacies and complex problems of his profession, he has attained success that is well founded. Mr. Blark has met with marked success in his work, and has made decided progress in caring for a representative clientele. In 1909 Mr. Clark was married to Miss Margaret M. Kearns, and the couple have one child, a son, Gibbons W. He is a member of the county, state and national bar associations.
