This photo was taken by Pete McAfee and is posted here with his permission. The monument is located at New Providence Presbyterian Cemetery, in the are that the early people are buried. It was erected by the Jane McAfee Chapter of the D.A.R. in Harrodsburg. Jane McAfee died in 1783, and is buried next to her son-in-law, Thomas Guant, in the Guant farm. Her exact gravesite is no longer known.
