Notes:

Opal lived in Canada her first 7 yrs. She lived in Coquille, Ore. for awhile. She was a telephone operator and during WWII she was a member of the Ground Observer Corps. With the US Air ForceÕs Fifth Fighter Command. She led Brownie and Girl Scouts programs for many years and was co-leader in the 4-H horse club called the Blue Denim Riders. She also liked gardening, needlework, sewing, ceramics and reading.
