Emmitt Merritt Anderson born in Iowa 23 December 1893; died in March 1984 (last
residence on record: Longview, Cowlitz Co., Washington).  Started Anderson Air
Activities and taught military cadet pilots during WW I at the McBride Air Base
in Perry County, Missouri and then at several bases (Malden, Mo and Waco, TX)
during the Korean War.  Named to Who's Who in Aviation several times.  Resided
in Malden, Dunklin County, Missouri during the 1950's.
