I note someone has posted a number of obits on the Doble family including Bertha
Lapham Doble wife of Milo.   I  ran across a posting of someone looking for a
Lapham decendant as they had a diary written by Fanny Crosley Lapham, Bertha's
grandmother.

Here's the posting: 

"I have a copy of a diary by Mrs. Fannie Crosley Lapham. I would like to get
this to an appropriate Lapham descendant. Amoung others it lists: Nelson Turoe
Lapham, an Irishman, moved to Island, Maine, and there married Fannie Deaeth
Srossley, They moved to Kansas in 1856. It also lists Fannie's grandson Lorraine
(aka Laurien, or Lon) and Katherine Lapham and their children Clarence,
Lawrence, Noel, Bertha and other relatives Mildred, Milo Doble, Bob, Buddy,
Grace, Donald, ThelmaMary, Richard, Donna, Alta, Iris.

NOTE: After Kansas and before Cowlitz Co, the Laphams lived in Mt and  Idaho:

By the way,  Lon Lapham's full name was Lorraine Julian Lampham and he is buried
in the Whittle Cem in Castle Rock.

Lon's brother married Mattie G Mallory (Almus Lapham).  I am looking for
Mattie's parents...I believe Joseph Mallory (also buried in Whittle cem) was
probably her father.
