Meeker Drive, Kalama, died Nov. 2, 1993 at St. John's Medical Center. He was born July 27, 1916 in Duluth, MN. He had lived in the area since 1946, having come from Minnesota. [He was actually born in Boy River, Cass County, Minnesota] Mr. Cline was a member of Longview Local 791 Labor Temple. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family. He is survived by four daughters, Delores Sexton and Joyce Wilson, both of Kalama, Cheryl Christensen of Brinnon, Wash., and Sandra Churchill of Castle Rock; a son Darrell Cline of Longview; several brothers and sisters; 18 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Cline was preceded in death by his wife Luverne, in 1981 and a son, James in 1974. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Steele Chapel at Longview Memorial Park. Private interment is at Longview Memorial Park. Visitation is today from 5 to 8 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. to noon. [Ed's parents are John Logan Cline and Maude Alice Raines Cline. This is my uncle.
