OBITUARY - ED FRANCIS JR. With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away, although we love you dearly, we could not make you stay, a golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best. Ed Francis, Jr., 43, of Kelso, passed away on April 21, 2004. He was born on June 20, 1960 in Seattle, Washington to Ed Francis, Sr. and Alice Francis. He moved to the local area in 1968. He served in the U.S. Army from 1981-1983. Mr. Francis worked as a saw filer at Green Mountain Mill in Toutle. He loved watching sports, especially the Mariners and Seahawks. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandson, Timmy, Jr. He was the most selfless person, who enjoyed helping others more than anything else. The most important things to him were his brothers, sister, children and grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include two sons, Eddie Francis of Longview and Tim Francis, Sr. of Kelso; three daughters, Debbie Francis of Midvale, Utah and Ashley Francis and Brittany Francis both of Rainier, Oregon; three brothers, Mark Francis of Longview, Mike Francis of Ollala, Washington and Jeff Francis, Sr. of Kelso; sister, Angie Mackley of Longview; grandson, Timmy Francis, Jr. of Kelso; friends, the Davison family of Longview; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Private viewing will be Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Mon from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 26, 2004 at Steele Chapel with Tim Berg officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 155 NE 100th, Suite 306, Seattle, WA 98125.Steele Chapel at Longview Memorial Park and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Edward Francis, Jr. will always be in our hearts. We all loved and got loved by Edwards Francis, Jr. We will still love and feel loved by Edward Francis, Jr. We feel lost with out him, we all feel a hole in our hearts, We all still love him, we will always love Edward Francis, Jr.
