OBITUARY - WILBERT DOBLE Submitted by: Jan Redelsperger, jansperger at gmail dot com Source: "Longview Daily News," Longview, Cowlitz Co., Washington, December 1964 Doble- Wilbert, 73, of 149 Cowlitz Gardens, Kelso, died Dec. 2 at a local hospital. He was born Aug. 2, 1891 in Iowa, and lived in Cowlitz County most of his life. Mr. Doble was a Veteran of World War I and was a member of the Kelso American Legion Post and Kelso Elks. He was a retired longshoreman. He is survived by his widow, Mary of Longview; a daughter, Mrs. Norine Spooner of Kelso; three grandchildren; two-great-grand-children; a sister, Mrs. Essie LePlant of Kelso; three step-sons, Noel and Marvin Heaton, both of Kelso, and Ira Heaton of Longview. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Ditlevsen-Moore Funeral Home with Dr. Ludvig Eskildsen officiating. Interment will be at Cowlitz View Memorial Gardens, cemetery. Ditlevsen-Moore Funeral is in charge.
