Former Kelso Resident Dies

Mrs. Harry C. Grice, 49, who was born and raised in Kelso as a member of the
widely known pioneer Jenkins family, died Thursday afternoon at Seaside where
she had resided for the past 18 months.  For many years prior she had made her
home in Portland.  As Dorothy Alice Jenkins she attended the Kelso schools.

Mrs. Grice is survived by her widower; by her mother, Mrs. E. P. Jenkins of
Kelso, and by two brothers, E. W. Jenkins of Kelso, and R. A. Jenkins of
Corvallis, Ore.  A nephew, Robert Jenkins, also lives in Kelso.

The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Kelso Presbyterian Church
with Rev. Philip Laurie officiating.  Burial will be in the I O O F cemetery.
