She was born Jan. 19, 1896 at Carrolls, Wash., near Kelso. Mrs. Watson was a school teacher in Kelso and Kalama and resided in the local area until her retirement. She was a member of Central Christian Church and a charter member of Yankettes Surviving are a son, Kent Watson of Puyallup, Wash., a sister, Jean Churchill, also of Puyallup; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Dahl’s Ditlevsen-Moore Funeral Home with the Rev. Leon Berg of the South Hills Christian Church officiating. Services will conclude at the funeral chapel and private interment will follow at Cowlitz View Memorial Gardens. Friends who wish to pay their respects may call at the funeral home until 8 this evening and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
