OBITUARY - JESSE D. JONES

JONES - Jesse D., 71, Woodland, died June 19 in Vancouver.  He was born Feb. 14,
1892, in Woodland.

Mr. Jones retied from the Cowlitz County Road Department in 1961.  He was a
member of the Woodland Eagles.

He leaves his wife, Esther, at home: two daughters, Mrs. Erma Bjur, Woodland;
and Mrs. Donna Simonson, Portland; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Specht, Toppenish;
and Mrs. Mabel Bozarth, Redmond; Ore.: and six grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Woodland Presbyterian Church.
The Rev. Lee Andrews will officiate.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial
Gardens in Vancouver.
