OBITUARY - LOUIS OLIVER Submitted by: Vikki, VGDriver1 at aol dot com Source: "Lewis River News," Woodland, Cowlitz Co., WA, Thursday, May 1, 1958 LOUIS OLIVER BURIED WITH MASONIC RITES Funeral services were held Friday, April 18, at the Woodland Funeral Home for Louis Oliver, brother of the late Judson Oliver. He suffered a stroke and died Apr. 17 in Seattle. A retired stationary engineer, Oliver had lived in Seattle for several years at the time of his death. He was born in Woodland Jan. 15, 1880, and lived her for several years in his youth. The son of Thomas and Hattie Oliver, pioneers of the Woodland community, he was the last survivor of the family of five children. Relatives surviving Oliver include three nephews and four nieces. Final rites were conducted by members of the Woodland Masonic Lodge of which he was a member. Internment was in the local IOOF cemetery.
