SERVICES ARE FRIDAY FOR GEORGE HATFIELD

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. for George H. Hatfield, 69, of
Woodland who died Aug. 19 in Rockaway, Ore.  The services will be held at
Vancouver Funeral Chapel.

The Rev. Alvin Gustafson will officiate.

Mr. Hatfield was born Jan. 12, 1889 in Iowa.  A retired farmer, he had been a
Woodland resident since 1929.

He is survived by his wife, Anne E. of Woodland; three sons: Harry of Woodland,
Robert of Aberdeen, and Pat of Rockaway, Ore.; one daughter: Mrs. Edith Schurman
of Ridgefield; two brothers: John Hatfield of Vancouver and Jess Hatfield of
Longview; two sisters: Mrs. Ella Dettloff of Woodland and Mrs. Elva Swanson of
Dickerson, N.D.; and ten grandchildren.

Woodland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements with vault internment at Park
Hill Cemetery in Vancouver.
