C4 Donna Bernice Hannam died in a Woodland care center Thursday, May 24, 2001, on her 76th birthday. She was born May 24, 1925, in Woodland and lived in the area all her life. Mrs. Hannam graduated from Woodland High School in 1943 and attended Central and Western Washington universities. She worked at the Lewis River News for 30 years before retiring in 1990. She was a member and organist at Woodland Presbyterian Church for 35 years and also was active in the choir. After retirement, she enjoyed gardening. Survivors include one daughter, Robin L. Hannam of Vancouver; three sons, John W. II of Clinton, David G. of Vancouver and Kevin M. of Edmonds; one sister, Dorothy M. Singletary of Redmond; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, in 1996. A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Woodland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
