Lois P. Cooper, 75, of Toutle died July 26, 2006. She was born Aug 9, 1930, in
Klamath Falls, Ore., to Paul M. and Barbara C. (Hammell) Searls.  She graduated
from Toutle Lake High School in 1948.  On Aug 11, 1950, she married Harvey
Dewayne "Coop" Cooper. He preceded her in death in 1992.  Mrs Cooper owned and
operated Streeter's Resort on Silver Lake for 42 years.. She is survived by a
son, Dewayne "Punk" Cooper, two daughters, Paula Nelson and DeDe Leatherwood;
two brothers, Max Searls and Mitch Searls; seven grandchildren; and six nieces
and nephews.  A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug 5, at
1621 Sightly Road in Toutle.  Memorial contributions may be made to the
Community Home Health & Hospice, P.O. Box 2067, Longview, Wa. 98632.  Cremation
has taken place inder the direction of Hubbard Funeral Home.
