"Bill'' LaRoy of 5600 Mount Solo Road, Longview, died March 24, 1986 in a local hospital at the age of 60. He was born Aug. 7, 1925, in Kalama. Mr. LaRoy was a shingle weaver. He was a Navy veteran of World War 11 and enjoyed playing pool, gardening, fishing and going to the beach. He was a member of the Longview Eagles. His wife, Faye LaRoy, survives him at home. Also surviving are three daughters, Carol Norton and Nancy Holwege, both of Longview, and Arlene Blain of Norfork, Neb., five sons, David LaRoy of Longview, Arnold Pelletier of Rainier, Roger Pelletier of Seattle and Arthur Pelletier and Lonnie Pelletier, both of Portland; a sister, Rita Miller of Beaverton, Ore.; a brother, Lyle LaRoy of Toutle; his father-in-law, Leo Smith of Rainier, and 28 grard- children. Memorial services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Longview Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5555 Ocean Beach Highway. Friends may pay their respnts at the funeral home until 8 pm this evening.
