Ellis Melvin Davis, 78, of 301 Umiker, Castle Rock, died May 27, 1978 at home.
He was born Dec 1, 1899, in Castle Rock. He lived his entire life in the local
area. He was a 58 year member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles of Castle Rock,
and had retired from the county road district No.1, after 18 years of work as an
equipment operator.

Survivors include hi wife, Ellen, at home; one daughter, Margaret Childs of
Castle Rock; one sister, Lottie Rice of Castle Rock, three grandchildren and
three great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. wednesday at the Hubbard Funeral Home, with the
Rev Martin Lee officiating. Burial will follow in the Whittle-Hubbard Cemetery.
