"Death At Kelso" Mrs. Ethel Blanche Lawless, 44, Castle Rock, who has lived in Cowlitz county all her life, died Monday at Kelso General hospital. Her father, John Martin, crossed the plains in pioneer days, locating near Kalama, Martins Bluff, south of Kalama, having been named for him. Mrs. Lawless had resided at Castle Rock for the past 30 years. She is survived by her husband, Arthur Lawless; a son, Fred Lawless, her mother, Mrs. Alice Martin of Castle Rock; three brothers, Phil Martin, Seattle; Fred Martin, Vader, and Russell Martin, Castle Rock; and two sisters, Mrs. Helen Campbell, Spokane and Mrs. Evelyn Price, Corvallis, Ore. She was a member of the sunnyside Grange, Castle Rock, and of the Ladies of the Eagles. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at the Martins Bluff cemetery.
