"Cowlitz Pioneer Dies"

Kelso, Saturday, Feb. 22---Mrs. Nancy Jane Bodine, age pioneer resident of
Cowlitz County, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. V. E. Hoven, at Eugene,
Ore., this week.  She was a daughter of William O. and Sarah Huntington, pioneer
residents of the Rose Valley district, and lived in Cowlitz county almost all
her life.  She and her husband at one time owned the present site of the county
farm just north of West Kelso.  She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Hoven and
Bess Bodine of Eugene.
