Johansen-Stump Lifelong local resident Tonia Lita Johansen-Stump, 39, of Cathlement, died June 18, 2001 at St. John Medical Center of natural causes. She was born September 18, 1961, in Longview to Norma and Carl Stump. As an infant, she was adopted by her grandparents, Joe and Mabel Johansen, who raised her as a daughter. They preceded her in death. Miss Johansen had a strong religious faith and was an active member of the Puget Island Orthodox Presbyterian Church and its Harmonies Ladies group. She volunteered at Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation Center, sharing her ministry with the residents. She enjoyed shopping, knitting, and crocheting. She will be remembered for her hugs and bright smile. She was a joy and a model to all who knew her. She is survived by her birth parents, Norma Stump of Kelso and Carl Stump of Selma, Oregon; three sisters, Cindy Dragoo of Rainer, Oregon, Suzanne Madtson of Creswell, Oregon, and Kathy Robb of Longview, and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 3:30 pm Saturday at the Puget Island Orthodox Presbyterian Church with Pastor Dan Kistler officiating.
