Loyal L. 'Shorty' Cosby

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, 1999, in the Idaville
Bible Church in Tillamook for Loyal L. "Shorty" Cosby, who died Feb. 17, in
Tillamook at age 85.

Mr. Cosby was born May 6, 1913, in Leroy, Ill. He lived in Portland from the
1930s until 1972. He was a cabinetmaker for B.P. John Furniture Co. for 39 years
and retired in 1972.

Survivors include his daughter, Carol Johnson of Beaverton; sister, Emily
Scofield of Sisters; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Interment was in Rose Valley Cemetery in Kelso, Wash. Arrangements were by
Waud's Funeral Home in Tillamook.
