Woman Who Died Alone at Home Yesterday True County Pioneer; Services will Be Saturday. Funeral services for Mrs Hattie Howe, age 72, who was found dead yesterday afternoon at her home, 3128 Ohio Street, in Longview, will be buried at 10:30 o'clock Saturday morning at the Riverview Cemetery in Portland, and interment will take place there. The Reorganized Church, Latter Day Saints, will be in charge of the service.The remains will be at Nat Smith Funeral Home in Kelso all day Friday when friends may pay their respects. Besides her husband, E.W. Howe, the deceased is survived by two daughters and two sons from a former marriage. These are Mrs Ella M. Reznor, and Mrs Iva Shoop, both of Portland; Vivian Johnson of Portland, and Tonnie Johnson of Yuma, Arizonia. Mrs Howe was a true Cowlitz County pioneer, having been born on the present site of Longview. She was away for several years, returning to Longview about 18 months ago.The exact time of Mrs Howe's death is not known but it was declared to be sometime between 8 and 3 o'clock yesterday. She was at home alone and her husband was in Castle Rock during the day. Cecil C. Hallin, prosecuting attorney and ex-offico coronor was called imediately and declared it a clear case of death from heart failure.
