OBITUARY: NELLIE (TAYLOR) DIXON Submitted by: Linda Henson (Mullins), me@lindakellie.com Source: Newspaper clipping; July 12 1983 Nellie Dixon Nellie Dixon, a former longtime Longview resident who moved to Yuma, Ariz., last October, died July 12, 1983, in Phoenix, Ariz., hospital at the age of 68. She was born March 24, 1915, in Cascade Locks, Ore. She and her family moved to Longview when she was 2 years old, and she lived here for all but about five years before moving to Yuma. Mrs. Dixon was a homemaker. Survivors include two sons, Cleve Mullins of Yuma and George Mullins of Auburn, Wash.; a daughter, Sue Ellen Mullins of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; two stepsons, Lawrence Davidson of Longview and Kenny Davidson of Santa Clara, Calif.; her stepmother, Veroca Taylor Brewer of Kalama; and brothers Donald C. Taylor of Florence Ore., John B. Taylor of Kalama, Frank A. Taylor of Kelso, William E. Taylor of Kalama and Clarence Allen Taylor of Idaho Falls, Idaho. Graveside services at Cowlitz View Memorial Gardens in Kelso are Pending. Whity and Murphy Funeral Home in Phoenix, Ariz., is in charge of arrangements.
