"The funeral of Alfred Parson, the 20 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. William
Parson, who died of consumption at the family home near Stella last Saturday
afternoon, took place yesterday afternoon.   Rev. T. M. Reese, of Kelso,
conducted the services.  Internment was in the Weist burying ground.  Young
Parson had been sick since last March, when a severe case of pneumonia developed
into consumption.  He leaves besides his parents, four brothers and one sister,
all well known in that section."
