PARSONS DIES OF HEART FAILURE Old Time Resident Is Found Dead In Pump House; Brothers Survive Harry Parsons, aged 61, a Kelso resident for the past 37 years, died of heart failure yesterday while alone at the pump house of diking district No. 2, south of Kelso, on the Leichhardt ranch. He was employed was a watchman at the pumphouse. An autopsy was conducted last evening under direction of Coroner Van Note, and heart trouble was determined to be the cause of death. Mr. Parsons was last seen alive at 11 o'clock yesterday morning. when he talked with a neighbor, John Hooker. About 6 o'clock last night he was found dead, sitting in a chair in the pump house, by Floyd Carroll, it was stated. He is survived by two brothers, Leverett, of Kelso, and Will Parsons, of Carrolls. The funeral arrangements, which will be in charge of Nat R. Smith, have not been completed." NOTE: Harry Parsons was the son of Sidney Stanhope Parsons and Mary Ann Spalding, Harry Parsons never married.
