Evalena Greene

	Evalena Greene, 102, of Nahcotta, Wash. died January 26, 1982, at Long
Beach, Wash.

	Born March 18, 1879, in California, she had been a resident of the peninsula
area since 1945. She and her husband, Judd Greene, married in 1913 and
homesteaded in New Mexico. They came to Nahcotta in 1945 from the Nema area,
where they had farmed for many years. Mrs. Greene was a member of the Long Beach
Grange.

	She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews including Judd Greene a
nephew of Ocean Park; Evelyn Greene, a niece, of Ocean Park; and Elizabeth
Brown, a niece of Portland; and numerous grandnieces and grandnephews.  

	Services will be at 1 pm Saturday at Penttilaís Chapel by the Sea with the
Rev. Paul Bodin officiatin. Interment will follow in Ocean Park Cemetery.
