Bill of Sale Lewis County, WA D.G. Ainslie to D.F. Sherman Know all Men by these Presents: That I, D.G. Ainslie, in consideration of one dollar to me paid by D.F. Sherman, the receipt whereof I hereby acknowledge, have sold, assigned and transferred and by these presents do sell, assign transfer, set over and convey unto the said D.F. Sherman all and singular the following described personal property, towit: That certain Steam Saw-Mill situated upon the Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section eight (8) of Township eleven (11) North of Range two (2) West of the Willamette Meridian, in the County of Lewis, State of Washington, including the buildings of said Saw Mill and the complete and entire Machinery and outfit thereof including two (2) Phoenix Steam Boilers and one Erie steam boiler of 14 feet by 48 inches; two steam engines; 14 inches by 16 inches; one 24 inch double surface six roller Glencoe planer; one lath Mill; one edger; one trimmer; one cut-off saw; and including all of the saws, carriages, trucks, fixtures and fittings of said Saw-Mill. The intention hereby being to convey the said Saw-Mill buildings and machinery and the outfit thereof complete. To have and to hold the same unto the said D.F. Sherman, his executors, administrators and assigns, forever. And I, the said D.G. Ainslie, do hereby covenant to and with the said D.F. Sherman, his executors, administrators and assigns, that I am the owner of said above described personal property, and that I will and my heirs, executors and administrators shall forever, warrant and defend the same unto the said D.F. Sherman, his executors, administrators and assigns, against the claims and demands of all persons whomsoever. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seals this 30th day of January 1890.
