ALBERT J. LANCEFIELD

     Born in Kent, England, March 12, 1817; came to New York in 1832, to
Missouri in 1837, and to Oregon nine years later.  He settled at Amity, Yamhill
County, and still resides there.  He is a farmer.  He married Sarah Henderson in
Canada in 1835, who died in 1849; married Sarah Mulkey in Oregon in 1850,
deceased  December 5, 1855; married Eliza Allen in Oregon in 1863.  Children --
Robert W. and Mary E.
