CHARLES McKINNEY

     Born in Indiana in 1830; left that State eight years later, went to Iowa
and remained there until 1845, when he came to Oregon, traveling by way of
Meek's celebrated cut-off.  His occupation is farming, and he possesses real
estate in Hillsboro, Washington County, his present residence and post-office
address.
