ISAAC ZUMWALT

     Born in St. Charles County, Missouri, in 1815.  He married Sarah Crow in
1837, and in 1846 left that State for Oregon.  Settled in Washington County, but
now resides in the Luckiamute Valley, where he carried on the business of
farming, and is also a millwright.  His children are -- William H., Matilda J.,
Commodore, Lewis S., Andrew J., Nancy A., Benjamin F., Melinda C., Mary E.,
Charles N., George W., and Amelia C.
