ROLAND CHAMBERS

     Born in Madison County, Ohio, in 1813, and coming to Oregon in 1845,
settled at King's Valley.  He built the King's Valley mill in the summer of
1854.  His occupation was milling and farming.  He married Sarah King, in 1841,
who died September 3, 1845; married Lovisa King in 1846.  Children -- Martha,
Margaret, James, William, Jackson, John, Franklin, Henry, Ordelia, Samuel,
Lydia, Rebecca, Julia, Lincoln, Anna, and Alice.
