Hull, Lindley M., compiler and editor. "A History of Central Washington, Including the Famous Wenatchee, Entiat, Chelan and the Columbia Valleys." Spokane: Press of Shaw & Borden Co., 1929. p. 219 MRS. FRANK REEVES Mrs. Belle Culp Reeves, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John H. Culp, and sister to Dr. Frank E. Culp of Wenatchee has a wide acquaintance in Chelan County and the state of Washington, and is deservably popular, possessing in a marked degree those qualifications of mind and heart that win friendship and make for efficiency in community life. During the World War, Mrs. Reeves was chairman of the Liberty Loan Campaign for the counties of Chelan, Douglas, Grant, Ferry and Okanogan. Her management of this war activity was equal to the best work in the state. In 1922 she was chosen to represent Chelan County in the State Legislature and re-elected to the same office in 1924. Her services in this position were very acceptable to her constituents. In June, 1928, Mrs. Reeves was elected president of the Rebecca Assembly (I.O.O.F.) of Washington, a position of trust and responsibility, and one that calls for a high order of executive ability. Zelma Reeves, the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Reeves, was born in the old town of Wenatchee, and is now Mrs. R. R. Morrison living in Spokane. Mrs. Morrison is a graduate of Washington University, and for sometime before her marriage was an instructor in the Wenatchee High School. * * * * Submitted to the WA.
