Hull, Lindley M., compiler and editor. "A History of Central Washington, Including the Famous Wenatchee, Entiat, Chelan and the Columbia Valleys." Spokane: Press of Shaw & Borden Co., 1929. p. 210. MRS. E. L. MANN Who in her girlhood days was known as Miss Rose R. Reeves, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. I. W. Reeves, has been from an early day identified with the life and interests of Wenatchee. She came to Washington with her parents in the late eighties, and in 1892 she established a business of her own in the new town of Wenatchee. In 1893 she was married to O. B. Fuller, who that same year engaged in newspaper work. Mrs. Mann is a conspicuous example of women's success in business, for her career as a manager of commercial interests has seldom been equaled by the most gifted of business men. She has large interests in Wenatchee and vicinity, and to these possessions there has been added valuable property in Seattle. Her orchard holding have from time to time been considerable, and she has been instrumental in encouraging families to build permanent homes by means of the fruit industry. Mr. and Mrs. Mann have a very pleasant home on North Wenatchee Avenue, and in a residence section destined to become valuable as business property. * * * * Submitted to the WA.
