BEESON - Was born in Findlay, Hancock county, Ohio, October 21, 1840, but when an infant was taken by his parents to Fond du Lac county, Wisconsin, where he was educated. In 1850 he commenced learning the printer's trade in a newspaper and job-printing office, and in 1860 edited and published at Fond du Lac, the Reporter. In 1877 he came to the Pacific Coast and in January, 1878, settled in Vancouver, since when he has been the editor of the Independent. Mr. Beeson has been City Clerk of Vancouver. Is married to Miss Julia M. de Neveu, of Fond du Lac, and has three children, viz. Gustave E., Julia and Susan E.
