JOHN MILLER deceased. This pioneer subject will be remembered by old settlers as occupying a homestead bordered on the west by Miller street and now intersected by Crawford and Fuller streets. He came to the Wenatchee country in the early eighties. He was a brother to Philip Miller. He developed an orchard of considerable size, and planted a vineyard that in time yielded enormously. A portion of every crop was made into wine. Mr. Miller was a bachelor, and was noted for his industrious habits and quiet manner of living. ******************* Submitted to the Washington Biographies Project in October 2010 by Diana Smith.
