Lorraine E. DeGroat

	Lorraine E. DeGroat, 58 an assistant manager at Longview's Seattle-First
National Bank, died Nov. 5, 1982, in a local hospital. 

	Mrs. DeGroat, of 1752 Florida, Longview, had lived in the local area since
1940, coming from South Dakota. She was born March 25, 1924, in Haiti, SD, and
was a member of the American Business Women's Association and the Salvation Army
Board.

	She is survived by her husband, Don DeGroat, at home; two daughter, Dona l.
DeGroat of Seattle and Kay M. DeGroat of Norman, Okla.; her mother, Hilda K.
Diiro of Longview; two sisters, Mildred Klockner of Longview and Dolly Kerr of
Manhattan Beach, Calif.; two brothers, Orval Diiro and Roland Diiro, both of
Longview; numerous nieces and nephews.

	Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at McVicker's Chapel on the Hill in
Kelso, with the Rev. A.C. Holmgren officiating.

	Friends and relatives wishing to express sympathy may contribute to the
American Cancer Society.
