Scott, 43, of 289 Laverne Drive, Kalama, died Nov. 6, 1982, in a local hospital. Mrs. Scott, a housewife, died of natural causes. She was born Nov. 23, 1938, in Morton, Wash. She had lived in the local area for about four years, after moving from Portland. She was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting, embroidering and rug-hooking. She is survived by her husband, Richard L. Scott, at home; three daughter, Anita Scott of Portland, Sheila Payne of Kalama, and Deborah Sweeney of Carson, Wash.; two sons, Jeff Scott of Portland and William Beeman of Tonasket, Wash; her mother, Beulah Hunter of Loomis, Wash.; a brother, Bruce Beadell of Marshall, Ill. And 10 grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church in Kalama with the Rev. Lloyd Holloway officiating. Cremation has taken place. McVicker's Chapel on the Hill is in charge of the arrangements.
