Schneider John Henry, 71, of 1114 S. 6th Ave., Kelso, died Dec. 13 in local
hospital. Born Jan. 3, 1888 in Clinton, Mo. He had lived in Kelso since 1916 and
was a retired Kelso city water department employee. He had worked for the city
more than 20 years. He was a member of Modern Woodmen and Eagles Lodge. 

Survivors include the widow, Frances; two sons, Jack of San Diego, Calif., and
Cloyd of Kelso; a daughter, Mrs. Peggy Tidd of Longview; two brothers, Phil and
Lewis of Clinton, Mo.; four sisters, Mrs. Bertha Jones and Miss Charlotte
Schneider of Clinton, Mo., Mrs. Ruth Gill of McAlester, Okla., and Mrs. Mary
Burgert of Kansas City, Mo.; five grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are
pending.  Ditlevsen-Moore Funeral Home in charge.
