OBITUARY - WALTER ROY EYMAN Submitted by: Jenny Tenlen (who has no further information on this individual) Source: "Cowlitz County Advocate," Castle Rock, Cowlitz Co., Washington, Thurs., July 26, 1951, Vol. 65, No. 12 "Walter Eyman Dies of Heart Attack" Walter Roy Eyman, 69, resident of Castle Rock for 26 years, died at his home of a heart attack Friday afternoon shortly after his return from a trip to Montana. He was born November 9, 1881 in Iowa. Before his retirement he was a shovel operator for the Longview, Portland & Northern railroad. He leaves his wife, Mabel, on son, Ray W. of Castle Rock, two daughters, Mrs. Rollo Geertgens of Longview and Mrs. Merlin Williamson of Castle Rock; a brother, Austin Eyman of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and two grandchildren. The funeral services were held Tuesday forenoon at eleven o'clock in the Hubbard chapel with Rev. Martin Skarbo officiating. Mrs. Skarbo was musician. The service was followed by cremation. The Hubbard funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
