Dorothy R. Parsons 

Dorothy Rose (Young) Parsons, 85, of Kelso, died April 28, 2004.

She was born Feb. 18, 1919, in Spokane and moved to the local area from Sedro 
Woolley, Wash., in 1933.

Mrs. Parsons was preceded in death by her husband, Lennie Parsons, in 1993.

Survivors include a son, Wayne Parsons; three daughters, Nadine Axelson, Kay 
Cobb and Peggy Longre; a brother, Phillip Young; 20 grandchildren; 42 
great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Rose Valley Grange. 
Private interment has taken place at Rose Valley Cemetery.
